Ophelia Thomassin
Oenologist and agricultural engineer, specializing in sensory analysis
Originally from the South of France, I grew up between vineyards and cellars, steeped in a unique terroir where wine traditions punctuate everyday life, including that of my family. This attachment naturally led me to studies in agricultural engineering and oenology carried out between France and Italy which allowed me to acquire a certain expertise in viticulture and oenology, but also more broadly in sensory analysis and tasting which are areas that fascinate me.
So, rich in my experiences of supporting wine-growing structures and after having carried out winemaking from France to New Zealand, I now wish to make knowledge and understanding of wine more accessible to all. I will be delighted to explore with you the countless facets of wine and to share with you the secrets of the art of tasting!
